Your favourite colours!

If You Love Navy & White, Try Fun Brights!
Crisp and preppy, this nautical duo holds a place in the hearts of tradionalists and those who like clean and simple hues. Both are bold and graphic alone or combined and look best paired with eye-catching brights like kelly green, citron, fuchsia and purple. These tones work so well because they're vibrant and, being blue-based, are derived from the same color family as navy itself.

If You Love Stone & Gray, Try Subdued Pastels!
Worn in an unbroken streak from head to toe, these two tones can seem flat and chilly. And while pastels may strike you as way too sweet, tossing them in the mix creates a fashion alchemy that's as sophisticated as it is romantic. Enhance the neutrals you already own by selecting pretty but muted shades such as blush, lavender, sky peach or even a washed indigo.

If You Love Khaki & Olive, Try Hot Earth Tones
There's a reason the Army uses this color combo for camouflage fatigues—wear them together or separately and you'll usually blend right into your surroundings. Avoid a disappearing act and still maintain the earthy vibe you love by sprinkling spicy shades throughout your outfit. Saffron, pine, pumpkin and wine possess warm undertones which work well with both neutrals and flatter most complexions.

Ruffles

Ruffles can give you that girly carefree vibe you always wanted. Here's how to wear it without looking like you're trying too hard:

* Ruffles along a neckline add bulk to a flat chest.
* Ruffled sleeves can camouflage upper arms.
* When it comes to ruffled hems, the longer the ruffle, the slimmer you'll appear
* Lots of short, tiered ruffles are flirty, but add bulk - use them to create curves or hide bulges.
* As a general rule of thumb, the smaller the pattern on your piece, the smaller the ruffles can be.

What type of dress suits you best?

Big Hips and Thighs

The easiest way to balance a bottom-heavy figure is to choose a dress that skims over the lower half of the body. This dress features a pretty batik print and a plunging halter to show off the face, shoulders and bust.

Flabby Arms

Don't worry: you don't have to look matronly to cover up flabby arms. The trick is to keep the sexy element with a split sleeve and wild animal print, like this dress.

Petite

Take the sophisticated route with a petite figure by avoiding too-cutesy styles (like puffed sleeves) so you'll look fabulous. A breezy sundress in tiny dots, like this one gives you a long, lean line with its empire waist.

Plus size

Just because your figure has curves doesn't mean you can't enjoy a pretty print sundress like this. The black background and oversized print, plus the way the print is broken up by pieces of fabric in tiers, make it flattering for larger sizes.

Unattractive legs

Don't want to show off your legs? You can still look gorgeous in a dress, instead of hiding your legs in pants. Try wearing a longer skirt (midcalf or longer). Such floaty dress gives you extra coverage but plenty of sensual appeal through use of luxe color and fabric

Wide Shoulders

You don't need to hide your upper body if you have wide shoulders. Instead, look for oversized details, like a wide hem and slightly A-line skirt like this dress adds balance. Avoid puffy sleeves or voluminous tops paired with slim bottoms that will exaggerate your shoulder width.

Thick Waist

Disguise a thick waist by either raising or lowering the waistline. This dreamy apron dress takes a raised waist approach and gets its flattery from the contrast fabric. A drop-waist dress, which hits somewhere around the hipbones, is another good alternative for disguising a thick waist.

Full Bust

Balance a top-heavy figure by opting for the most flattering neckline for the full bust: the V-neck or plunging neckline. This dress features a flowing fuller skirt to balance a fuller bust. Look for fabrics that skim, but aren't clingy or too stiff. Also, avoid ornate necklines, embellished bodices and blouson style.

Small Bust

Most clothing actually hangs better on women with smaller busts, but if you want to add more volume up top look for embellishment or ruffles on the bodice, like this softly ruffled dress.

Too Thin

If you're body lacks natural curves, add feminine presence with a bright color and bold pattern, like. Extra details like full sleeves and a ruched waist add volume. Avoid clingy fabrics or bare styles that show off sharp hip or collar bones.

Which sunshade suits you best?

(1) Oval face
Almost any style works for oval face. Experiment with the latest looks, such as wraparounds or shields. Square shaped frames with gently rounded edges and higher temples also look good on an oval face.

Frame suggestions : Any frame shape

(2) Round face
Frames should make the face appear longer and thinner. In general, look for frames equal to or slightly wider than the broadest part of the face. Minimize the curves and add definition with soft, angular, rectangular styles or double brow styles. Higher temples will create a longer profile. Sunglasses with brow bars also pull the eye upward, making the face appear longer.

Frame suggestions : Wider frames with angular / rectangular styles

(3) Diamond shape
This face shape has wide or high cheekbones with a narrow forehead and chin. Oval sunglasses will soften the contour of the face, although softly curved square frames will work as well. Make sure the styles are no wider than the top of the cheekbones.

Frame suggestions : Oval, Square, Rimless

(4) Square face
This face shape consists of a strong jawline, a broad forehead and wide cheekbones. Reduce the angles with soft, curvy styles that will give the face some definition such as cat-eye styles. The classic ovals also works well for this face shape.

Frame suggestions : Oval, Round, Cat Eyes

(5) Oblong face
Widen and shorten the face with sunglass styles that do not extend beyond the widest part of the face. Round or square shapes will look great on this face. Frames with short horizontal and long vertical lines also work. Decorative or contrasting temples add width to the face.

Frame suggestions : Round, Square

(6) Triangle shape
This face has a narrow jaw and a wide forehead. Soften the lower portion of the face by accenting the eye area. Styles such as cat- eyes should angle outward at the top corner and be wide enough to balance the jawline. You can also try metal frames with rimless bottoms.

Frame suggestions : Frames with a Straight Top Line, Cat Eyes

Perfect Wash Tips

• Do check pockets to ensure no tissue paper or receipt which can create a disaster.

• Don't ignore the stains found on fabric. Treat stains first using good stain remover before washing.

• Do seperate the darks from the lights. Wash white, wash darks, and finally wash reds.

• Do avoid hot water as high heat temperatire is always bad for all types of fabrics.

• Don't add too much detergent as it damages clothes and harms the environment. Ensure that the detergent dissolves evenly before washing to avoid staining.

• Do dry washed laundry immediately to avoid unpleasant odours.

• Don't iron at high temperature. Set to cool. Steam irons work miracles on wrinkles and delicate fabrics.

What to wear with leggings?

1) Mini
Leggings and skirts are truly a dynamic duo. If you have qualms about showing off your stems, add a pair of leggings in to the mix. Leggings enable skin-shy women to pull off skirts of all lengths. Choose a color that coordinates with your top, and keep in mind that dark colors are always more flattering.

2)Shirtdresses
Peeking out from a sturdy shirtdress, tights add an extra layer of style, often in the form of a pattern or color. When it comes to sun dresses and other breezy numbers, take caution: most flirty frocks are just too light for tights. A good rule of thumb is that if the dress demands heels, stick to bare legs. On the other hand, flats and sandals work, leggings will too.

3)Tunics
If you want your tights can take the spotlight, pair them with a tunic. Standard tees and tanks simply won’t work unless you’re a model or an aerobics instructor–make sure your top hem touches your upper thigh, and you’re good to go.

4)Flats
High heels tend to look very “retro dance queen” teamed with tights–and not in a good way. Avoid heels of any height and instead opt for ballet flats, skimmers, moccasins, and slides. With stylish flats, you can pull off tights with casual ease.

What to wear to a wedding?

Daytime
-Informal: Short dress or suit (business attire OK for morning weddings)
-Semi-Formal: Short dress or suit
-Formal: Short dress or suit. Hats and gloves optional.

Evening
-Informal: Cocktail dress
-Semi-formal: Cocktail dress
-Formal: Long or dressy short cocktail (beading, glam accessories, wrap)
-Ultra-formal: Long gown, extra glitz (furs, diamonds, etc.)

Do's
-Do wear something feminine and appropriate, out of respect for your hosts.
-Do take off gloves to eat or drink.
-Do use good judgment if the invitation doesn't specify the formality of the event. A pastel suit or soft floral dress for daytime or a little black dress for evening (after 6 p.m.) will take you almost anywhere.

Don'ts
-Don't wear white because it competes with the bride. There are plenty of other colors available.
-Don't wear black or sequins during the daytime.
-Don't worry about wearing the same colors as the bridesmaids or mothers. You can't possibly coordinate with everyone in the wedding party.
-Don't wear clubwear. Overtly sexy clothing (strapless, see-through, etc) doesn't belong at a wedding. If you have to ask if it's appropriate, it probably isn't.
-Don't wear opera-length gloves (to top of arm) with anything but sleeveless or strapless gowns.
